10. The Lesson Learned from Death

After waking up to find Romeo dead next to her, Juliet attempts to kiss the leftover poison on his lips. This does not work, so she takes his dagger and stabs herself with it. The recent happenings in the tomb have caught the guards' attention by now, and there are now some new visitors: the Capulets, the Prince, Montague, and Friar Lawrence. The Friar explains the story of Romeo and Juliet to everyone there, and only after this tragedy do Capulet and Montague realize that they must reconcile.
